Hi friends! Im happy to share some points about Choosing additional subject in CBSE Class IX and X.
This subject does not play an important role in your Marklist. But it will be a major role in your life. You know everything is digitalized so you need the Computer knowledge. If you choose this subject you can learn the basics as well as you will get some knowledge about Internet and Markup Language.
If you choose ICT as a additional subject you may not learn the basics of Computer. But if you choose Foundation of Information Technology you can learn all the basics including the types of computer, history of computer, Input output devices and MS - Office or Libre Office package.
Its a golden opportunity to learn more.
Some times you may compare this syllabus with other curriculam you may feel childish , but the real thing is if you choose Foundation of Information Technology you can cover the basics that is going to play a very important role in your career.
Now the BPO, KPO sectors are not asking the programming languages they are giving preferrence only to this basic softwares.
And also now the trend is E-Commerce, so you need the HTML and XML knowledge , Everything is in this Foundation of IT.
